There's a lot of killing happening right now and there many reasons, but we don't seem to understand. Humanity seems to forget the same lesson over and over again. And we Buddhists learn about that is if you kill someone or you help kill someone, eventually you pay the price by being killed or someone else will get help to kill you. It's that simple, cause and effect. You kill, you help kill, you will be killed. You know, that's why from a precepts perspective, we have a precept that is that is no killing. Well, we we refrain from killing beings, smallest beings, insects, animals, people, gods and so forth. And the heavier the killing offense, the heavier the retribution. And yes, we can explain it in terms degree, in terms of whatever things, but fundamentally, all you see is killing. When war happens, it's an act of killing. This is kill people. And you look at the various cultures in the in the history of mankind, there's so many wars and the killing there. Any kind of killing carries a retribution for being killed. And we seem to miss that point entirely.
