Their immense achievement was made possible because of you. Therefore, their resulting blessings become your own blessings. If you help even a single person reach the Pure Land and become a Buddha or a Bodhisattva there, you receive the exact same blessings generated by their awakening. You do not have to perform the specific practice yourself; you inherit the very same blessings they do.
