Don’t discriminate. When you stop discriminating, you can stop being afflicted. What you don’t understand is that every time you discriminate, it is based on affliction.
Look back and reflect. When you discriminate, you are already afflicted. You are feeding your afflictions through discrimination. Affliction leads to discrimination, and discrimination completes the loop, making you even more afflicted—again and again.
If you stop discriminating, what happens? Your afflictions no longer increase. Then you have a chance to shave them off. But if you keep discriminating, your afflictions keep growing, and you get more and more lost.
When you are not afflicted, you are in a state of wisdom. With wisdom, you can discriminate if needed. But when you are heavily afflicted, discrimination only makes things worse for you.
