While many practitioners are satisfied just to get there, we emphasize shooting for the highest grade possible. You can affect this in two ways: through Blessings or Samadhi Power. For those who cannot cultivate or have little interest in meditation, you can help them by generating "rebirth blessings" on their behalf. When they reach the Pure Land, these accumulated blessings allow their "lotus flower" to open sooner, and they will receive the Dharma directly from Amitabha Buddha at a higher level. On the other hand, monastics and dedicated practitioners focus on Samadhi. Their high concentration power allows them to attain a high rebirth grade instantaneously upon arrival.
