When you are unhappy, afflicted, or upset, you should always think of meditation to fix your state of mind. Don't blame others. By blaming others, you still have the same problem; it doesn't change anything. In fact, it agitates you even more, right? When you are upset with someone, the more you blame them, the more afflicted you become. That's all. Think about it—that is the wrong way to approach your afflictions. The more you think about your afflictions, the more afflicted you will become.
Instead, if you are afflicted and you don't like it—if you want to do something about your affliction when you are upset at someone, depressed, unhappy, having cravings, or heartbroken—the universal antidote for all the afflictions in life is meditation.
When you are afflicted and unhappy, and you want to fix the problem—that's when you must think of meditation.
