What does a test mean to you? A test means that you get afflicted. A test means something difficult, something that creates afflictions for you. Anything that afflicts you is a test, and you are supposed to get afflicted. It is a test for you to learn how to overcome your affliction. Wisdom only arises when you learn to overcome your afflictions. If you are afflicted, it is because you lack wisdom. You lack wisdom, and therefore, you need to endure the affliction. Once your afflictions go away, that is when you gain a little bit more wisdom than before.
