When you try to help someone, you should not force them.
Don’t impose your will on others. This is part of our foundation:
we do not want to force ourselves on anyone. We must respect people’s wishes and desires, just like the Buddhas. Even if others are wrong, we still need to be respectful, like the Buddhas.
The Buddhas see us doing many wrong things, yet they don’t force us. They wait until the right time to help us.
Just because you are right doesn’t mean you are entitled to impose your thinking or your beliefs on others.
You must be patient and wait until the time is right.
